About the Campaign

Our Canada includes
immigrants and refugees.

Three kids sit in a sunlit forest, smiling and roasting marshmallows on sticks.

It’s time to turn the tide and tell a positive story about immigrants and refugees, to build back support for an inclusive Canada, and tackle the problems we face in this country, together.

The Canadian Council for Refugees, along with over 125 supporting organizations across the country, launched the We’re Better Together campaign to counter the rising tide of hate and blame towards immigrants and refugees.

In Canada, we speak many languages, come from many places, and across our differences, we look out for each other. While politicians abroad spread lies to turn neighbour against neighbour, in Canada we won’t be divided.

We are proud to be a country that welcomes newcomers, and we expect our leaders to carry on that legacy and make this a place where all families can thrive.

We know we’re better off together.

Let’s show everyone that in Canada, we’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our neighbours to build a better future for all.
