Il est temps d’inverser la tendance et de raconter une histoire positive sur les immigrants et les réfugiés, de renforcer le soutien à un Canada inclusif et de s’attaquer ensemble aux problèmes auxquels nous sommes confrontés dans ce pays.

Le Conseil canadien pour les réfugiés, ainsi que plus de 125 organismes de soutien à travers le pays, ont lancé la campagne On fait mieux ensemble pour contrer la montée de la haine et du discours de blâme envers les personnes immigrantes et réfugiées.

Au Canada, nous parlons plusieurs langues, nous venons de plusieurs endroits et, au-delà de nos différences, nous veillons les uns sur les autres. Alors que des politiciens à l’étranger propagent des mensonges pour monter les voisins les uns contre les autres, au Canada, nous ne nous laisserons pas diviser.

Nous sommes fiers d’être un pays qui accueille les nouveaux arrivants, et nous attendons de nos dirigeants qu’ils perpétuent cet héritage et fassent de notre pays un endroit où toutes les familles peuvent prospérer.

 Au Canada, nous savons qu’on fait mieux ensemble.

Montrons qu’ici au Canada, nous sommes fiers de nous tenir aux côtés de nos voisins pour construire ensemble un avenir juste et accueillant pour tout le monde.
